FILM ABOUT UAE RENAISSANCE SCREENED IN KAZAKHSTAN

WAM Abu Dhabi, Feb. 10th, 2010 (WAM) -- A TV channel in the capital of Kazakhstan "Astana" showed a special film on the comprehensive cultural renaissance taking place in the UAE under the leadership of President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
The film dealt with UAE′s ability to continue economic growth, tourism and trade development and attract more investments, despite the financial crisis.
The film prepared by a team of Kazakhstan government television during their visit to the UAE on the invitation of National Media Council pointed out the miracle of transforming the UAE from a barren desert to a green paradise surrounded by up-to-date facilities of modern life in the world.
The TV report included meetings with H.E. Sheikha Lubna bint Khalid Al Qassimi, Minister for Foreign Trade, H.E. Dr. Anwar Gargash, Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, H.E. Mohammed Omar Abdullah, Under-Secretary of Economy Development Department and a number of officials.
The film mentioned basic information, such as, UAE population, the official language, Islamic religion, customs and traditions of the Arab and Islamic culture.
