A warm welcome to the official website of the Embassy of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the United Arab Emirates in Abu Dhabi.
First of all, let me express appreciation for your desire to know more about our country - the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Since first years of independence the Republic of Kazakhstan has established strong diplomatic, trade and economic ties with the United Arab Emirates. The UAE is one of the most important Kazakhstani partner in the Arab and Muslim world.
In order to enhance these burgeoning links, the Governments of both nations recognized that there was a vital need for full diplomatic representation between the Republic of Kazakhstan and the United Arab Emirates. Therefore, the Embassy of Kazakhstan was opened in Abu Dhabi in September 2006. This was a historical step forward and the result of implementation of a number of agreements between the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the President of the United Arab Emirates.
Kazakhstan today is often referred to as a fast emerging Giant at the heart of the Eurasian continent. Our country is one of the most dynamically developing states on the post-soviet space. That applies not only to its economic development but also to those numerous improvements that take place in everyday life of Kazakhstan.
The current economic success of Kazakhstan is an indisputable fact. However, the Government of our country has not been content to sit back on its laurels. It has set far-reaching economic and social development goals, striving to be ranked among the 50 most developed countries in the world, within the next decade. The basis of this strategy lies in utilization of natural resources and playing an active role within regional and global economic trade organizations.
In this respect, the Kazakhstan Government had assigned to its Embassy in the United Arab Emirates a mission to strengthen and further develop bilateral cooperation between the Republic of Kazakhstan and the United Arab Emirates. The embassy has also undertaken a variety of studies on the UAE in economic, social and other spheres, the United Arab Emirates viewed as a model for successful development throughout the Developing and Third Worlds.
The Embassy of the Republic of Kazakhstan also acts as a bridge for many efforts to boost private sector contacts between the two countries, while also being an umbrella for supporting United Arab Emirates investment into the economy of Kazakhstan.
We are also hope that this site will prove a handful tool in finding a lot of new and interesting about political, economic and cultural life of Kazakhstan.
Individual sections of the website are dedicated to the cooperation of Kazakhstan with the Sultanate of Oman and Kingdom of Bahrain.
